It is arguably the most successful film franchise ever made, and now the latest in the serious has an official name.
Episode VIII in the Star Wars saga will be titled The Last Jedi.
The film, is the sequel to JJ Abrams’s 2015 The Force Awakens, and will continue the story of mysteriously powerful Rey (Daisy Ridley), runaway stormtrooper turned good guy Finn (John Boyega) and resistance pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac).
Rumours are already buzzing as to what that entails, with the Force Awakens closing with the reveal of Luke Skywalker.
