After teasing fans with a short EP last year, Super Unison have now given the first glimpse of their upcoming full-length.
Featuring former Punch vocalist Meghan O’Neil Pennie and Snowing drummer Justin Renninger, the duo are joined by guitarist Kevin DeFranco to round off the trio.
Unlike Punch, which kept O’Neil at level ten at all times, Super Unison allows her to breathe a bit, opening up at parts to make room for slightly more melodic interludes.
Having received high praise from critics at Rolling Stone magazine and Brooklyn Vegan, in the short time the band has been together have already picked up a formidable reputation, seeing them share a stage with Shook Ones, Self Defense Family and Coliseum.
New record Auto brings with it a wash of discordant melody and texture into the fray, keeping things fast paced and smartly aggressive at every twist and turn.
You can listen to the first track from Auto, which will be released through Deathwish Inc, titled ‘Time & Distance’ over on Noisey’s website HERE.
To coincide with the release the band will be touring the USA finishing up at The Fest.
