Despite releasing arguably the hardest record of the year so far, Californian powerviolence band Nails have gone on an indefinite hiatus according to their label Nuclear Blast.
There has been no official word from the band as yet, but a spokesperson from Nuclear Blast said the trio’s upcoming shows across the UK had been cancelled and there was no plans to reschedule the dates.
The band were due to hit the road on European soil in November with Full of Hell, but many venues have now issued statements saying that the shows have been cancelled do to the bands hiatus.
A statement from Seetickets said: ‘Starting this weekend Nails will go on hiatus with no plan to ever play live or record again.
‘This of course means the European album tour is now cancelled.’
Nails’ third album You Will Never Be One Of Us was only released last month. As more news of the bands hiatus comes in we will keep you up to date.
