Arguably the world’s most recognisable villain is set to appear on the silver screen once more, as rumours surrounding Darth Vader appearing in the latest Star Wars instalment – Rouge One – have now been confirmed.
The latest issue of Entertainment weekly used its front cover to break the news, which has made film fans around the globe go crazy with excitement.
Since the news of Rogue One being the next film to be set in a galaxy far far away, rumours have been buzzing (or should that be wheezing) about Vader’s involvement.
This is the first standalone Star Wars story, and is set many years before A New Hope – the original film in the series.
The film promises to show case a whole range of new characters played by British actress Felicity Jones alongside Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen and Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, as well as a new villain Director Krennic, a played by Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn.
The question now on fans lips is who will be inside the iconic suit?
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be out on December 16 this year.
