Zack Sabre Jr, Jack Gallagher, Flash Morgan Webster and Pete Dunne have been announced as the first four competitors from the UK to take part in the WWE Global Cruiserweight Series.
Since the tournament was announced by Triple H, the wrestling industry have been buzzing with excitement and with wrestlers like Noam Dar, Tommaso Ciampa and Rich Swann already confirmed to compete, it appears the series will be a whose who of indy sensations.
Adding into the mix that these four men will compete in London’s Electric Ballroom for Progress Wrestling, it really shows that Triple H really has his finger on the pulse.
The matches, which will take place on April 24, will see ZSJ face off against Webster, while Gallagher takes on the self proclaimed bruiserweight of Dunne.
With many people thinking ZSJ is certain to advance the other space is still up for grabs as the field gets narrowed down to 32 individuals who will take part in the final competition.
As further qualifiers have been announced to take part at Evolve and fellow British promotion Revolution Pro yet to announce their qualifiers.
It surely is an exciting time to be a wrestling fan.
