This year has already been a huge year for New Japan Pro Wrestling, with so much attention on their talent, they have almost become the cornerstone of indy wrestling.
And once again they have pulled it out of the bag at the recent first round of the New Japan Cup 2016. Not only announcing the return of the Super J-Cup tournament for the first time in seven years, but the Aerial Assassin would soon be making his debut.
During the event Kazuchika Okada and Katsuyori Shibata beat. IWGP Jr. Champion Yujiro Kushida and Katsuyori Shibata, then after the match Okada dropped the bombshell that he had recruited Will Ospreay as the newest member of Chaos and he would be coming for Kushida’s title.
It is rumoured that Okada pursued the Englishman to join his ranks at the Revolution Pro Global Wars event last year.
Ospreay appeared on the big screen to challenge for the IWPG jr belt, and will make his official NJPW debut at the Invasion Attack PPV on April 10. .
