We’ve all had a go at playing dead at some point in our lives, but Daniel Radcliffe takes that premise to the extreme in his latest film.
Premièring at the festival the film sees Paul Dano, playing a lost soul stranded on a desert island, with the only thing to keep him company is a dead body (Radcliffe) washed up on the shore.
You can’t imagine that Radcliffe would sign up to a film to just lay limp and lifeless for the duration. So it is say to presume he will come to life – even if it is only in the mind of Dano.
Swiss Army Man is the first feature film from Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, going under the name ‘Daniels’, may sound very Cast Away esque, but with all Sundance films there is always more than meets the eye.
