WWE have once again dipped into the world of indie wrestling to pick out their latest talent to join their developmental program.
The latest signing is Australian pairing Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste, better known as The Mighty Don’t Kneel. The pair have been making waves in Japan over the past few years and after having picked up almost every tag-team title on the indie scene it is now time for them to set up into the big leagues.
The duo penned a deal with the NXT development program after extensive try-outs at their performance centre in Orlando and impressed the WWE trainers their.
It is great to see that the WWE are starting invest in tag-teams rather than just pairing two superstars together. The Mighty Don’t Kneel have been working as a team since 2011 and could fill in as the dominant tag-team that has been missing since The Ascension moved up to the main roster.
